Collective Conscience

 I recently met with a woman who spent years investigating and cleaning up after the evils that others created.  She's suffering mental trauma from the task, as any feeling human would in her situation.  It occurs to me that her peace of mind has been sacrificed because of another human in this race of ours building an evil that others have to dismantle to keep the vulnerable among us safe.
